Range USA is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, provide product knowledge, and guide customers through the Range USA experience in Utica/Clinton Twp, MI. The role emphasizes compliance with 4473/background checks, teamwork, and upselling related services and promotions.

The position requires 21+ years old, 1–2 years of retail sales, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
• Ability to understand, recall and follow complex compliance regulations and the ability to work with highly confidential information.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close the store including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age.

• Conduct range customer check-in in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Maintain the range timer for proper tracking of customer time.
• Ensure an efficient and compliant range firearm rental process.
• Utilize radios to communicate with Range Safety Officer regarding safety and customer issues.
• Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, benefits, and availability.
• Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes.
• Remain up to date on new product and industry news.
• When acting as an ecommerce picker, the pickup dashboard must be checked every hour, and any new orders should be picked.

The Sales Associate role ensures every single Range USA customer is provided the assistance and knowledge to fulfill the experience they are seeking by being proficient in product knowledge, selling skills and operations. The main responsibility of the Sales Associate is to convert Range USA customers to buyers with sales that fulfill the desired experience.
