Job summary

Landers Appliance in Baltimore is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Salesman to guide customers to the right appliance and deliver an exceptional experience in every interaction.

You’ll excel by selling with confidence, staying organized, communicating clearly, and genuinely caring about the customer experience as you learn HUB and our fixed pricing menu. Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience preferred — retail, hospitality, or similar.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize on the fly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication — clear, respectful, and professional.
• Confident using technology and comfortable learning our sales software (HUB) and fixed pricing menu, with training provided.
• No appliance industry experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation — this role requires travel to customers' homes for pre-inspections.
• Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM

Responsibilities

• Sales & Quoting: Sell off our standardized stock-menu binder — walk-in customers, straightforward replacements, and stock appliance sales.
• Quote and close sales directly in HUB, following set pricing (no off-menu sales without manager approval).
• Travel offsite to customers' homes to conduct pre-installation inspections as needed.
• Customer Coordination: Handle walk-in customers on the showroom floor and screen incoming phone calls.
• Provide updates, answer product questions, and follow up with customers who haven't decided yet.

Key Responsibilities
