Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to greet customers, build lasting relationships and educate on tile products. You will help customers understand installation and usage, track orders, and work toward personalized sales goals.

In a fast-paced, commission-based environment, you will develop product knowledge and deliver excellent service to exceed expectations while maintaining professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is common for this role.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Able to learn product knowledge and explain installation and usage to customers.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment.

Job Description

• Proactively greet customers professionally
• Develop lasting customer relationships by treating customers with courtesy
• Conduct follow-up customer communication
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
• Understand and track established individual sales goals
• Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
• Other duties as assigned

45K to 75K expected 1st-year earnings in a draw plus commission payment structure

• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations
