Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $48.00/hr

• Supervise a team of 20+ coders, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and daily support
• Oversee coding operations for a range of specialties including:
• Dental, Behavioral Health, Anesthesia, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, and more
• Collaborate on scheduling, PTO management, team huddles, newsletters, and ongoing communication
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for coding questions and system navigation
• Uphold coding accuracy, compliance standards, and productivity expectations
• Engage in candid conversations with coders to drive quality and accountability
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and team-building strategies
• Use systems including Allscripts, Optum Encoder Pro, SharePoint, and Microsoft OneNote

What You Bring

• Certification through AAPC or AHIMA required
• Demonstrated experience supervising remote coding teams
• Strong knowledge of Profee coding across multiple specialties
• Effective communication and leadership skills — direct and clear feedback is key
• Availability to work between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM Arizona Time
• Comfortable using multiple platforms and managing virtual teams
