Job summary

Nexstar Media in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales Department with order entry, traffic and accounting tasks and to handle clerical duties. You will act as a liaison between Account Executives and other station departments, ensuring smooth communication and accurate recordkeeping.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong English communication skills, and at least one year of clerical or administrative experience in a sales or media setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical support or administrative experience, preferably in sales or media.
• Proficiency with office equipment and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

The Sales Assistant works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic and accounting perspective. The Sales assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by department personnel as needed.
