Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Sales Assistant to back the Fabrication Account Manager with essential administrative duties for assigned customer accounts. The role involves processing data entries for shipping logs, POs, pricing, and orders, updating daily reports, and supporting the account team.

The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret business information and prepare correspondence.
• Proficient in basic business math.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, and order-processing systems.
• Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for shipping logs, POs, pricing and related information.
• Process Sales Order/Confirmation entries from customer POs.
• Assist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory.
• Update daily reports and account management tools.
• Support Fabrication Account Managers as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.

The Sales Assistant supports the Fabrication Account Manager with various administrative duties related to specific customer accounts.

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to successfully drive the vision and mission of Kloeckner Metals
• Processes data entry related to shipping logs, PO’s, pricing, and other information
• Complete Sales Order/Confirmation entries based on customer PO’s
• Assist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory and transfers from KMC facilities to OOP locations
• Input OOP production of fabricated components for accounts as directed
• Update daily reports and account management tools
• Assist Fabrication Account Managers with various duties as required
• Other duties as assigned
