Gray’s Tree Service in Bessemer, AL seeks a Sales Arborist to guide residential and commercial customers toward tree and plant health care services. You’ll combine on-site assessments, tailored proposals, and coordination with field teams to win and finalize jobs.

Candidates with home services experience and strong negotiation skills will fit well. A driver’s license is required; ISA certification is encouraged as you grow tree care expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in home services or a related industry with a track record of winning business.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to learn CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Preferred: tree care or landscaping sales experience; knowledge of tree species and arboriculture.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and community engagement.
• Follow up with leads, present proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
• Visit properties to assess tree and plant health care needs and recommend services.
• Prepare clear estimates and tailored proposals.
• Build lasting customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate project details with field teams to ensure service delivery and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer information and updates in the CRM system.
