Gray’s Tree Service in Bessemer, AL seeks a Sales Arborist to guide residential and commercial customers to the right tree and plant health care services. On-site assessments, tailored proposals, and coordination with field teams will drive successful project delivery.

The role emphasizes building trust, closing sales, and developing tree care expertise while leveraging experience in home services and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in home services or a related industry with a demonstrated ability to win business and achieve sales goals.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
• A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to pursue ISA Certified Arborist certification.
• Willingness to learn CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Preferred: knowledge of tree species, arboriculture practices, or a related bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and community engagement.
• Follow up with leads, present proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
• Visit residential and commercial properties to assess tree and plant health care needs and recommend services.
• Prepare clear, accurate estimates and proposals tailored to each customer’s property, goals, and project requirements.
• Build lasting customer relationships that support repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate project details with field teams to support successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Keep customer information and proposals current in the CRM system.
