Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Sales Arborist Representative in San Francisco, CA. This full-time, on-site role involves educating customers, providing estimates, and developing plant health care programs while supporting the District Manager and crew teams.

Compensation ranges from $78,000 to $150,000+ per year, with base plus commission. Relocation assistance is available; Bay Area relocation may apply. Excellent benefits and employee-owned culture are offered.

Qualifications

• ISA Certified Arborist and green industry experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of tree care, hazard tree evaluation and integrated pest management.

Responsibilities

• Educate residential and commercial customers on tree needs.
• Provide estimates based on customer needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members on customer jobs.
• Assist District Manager in directing the team.

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Sales Arborist Representative to our passionate team of tree care professionals.

Compensation Data: $78-$150k+ per year, pay is a mix of the base salary and commission schedule. (2-4 years minimum experience)

Job Duties

• Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.
• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationship with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
• As part of the office and field management team, the Sales Representative assists the District Manager in the direction of whole team.

Qualifications

• Green industry related experience required for success
• ISA Certified Arborist ®
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates
• TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional and ISA TRAQ certification a plus!
