Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is hiring a Sales Representative in the Colma, CA area. This on-site role involves educating customers about tree care, providing estimates, and growing the client base while supervising crews under district management.

Relocation assistance is available. A valid driver's license and ISA arborist credentials are preferred; 2–4 years of experience is required. A paid time off program and comprehensive benefits accompany a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Green industry experience is required.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential is preferred.

• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge is preferred.

• Knowledgeable with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, IPM and industry practices.
• Preferred pesticide licenses and related certificates.
• TCIA and ISA TRAQ certifications are a plus.

Compensation Data: $78-$150k+ per year, pay is a mix of the base salary and commission schedule. (2-4 years minimum experience)

Job Duties

• Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.


• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.


• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.


• Create and build relationship with new and existing clients.


• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.


• As part of the office and field management team, the Sales Representative assists the District Manager in the direction of whole team.

Qualifications
