Membership Representative

Are you someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong sales background? Our Membership Representative is a salaried role at Sam’s Club. We seek friendly individuals passionate about teaching and training associates at registers, self-checkouts, club pick-up, and more. You will engage current members to utilize their benefits and develop business-to-business relationships to grow membership. The role can be fast-paced, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring multitasking such as visiting businesses, training, and supporting events. Our associates find this work rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

What you'll do...
  • Drive membership growth by communicating goals, results, and feedback
  • Update signage and marketing materials related to membership programs
  • Complete required documentation
  • Engage members through cross-functional collaboration to identify training needs
  • Provide information on membership benefits and promote company products/services
  • Teach associates to process and sell memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts
  • Communicate membership events and assist with membership plans to meet sales targets
  • Educate members on types, programs, and benefits
  • Identify and match member needs with appropriate solutions
  • Respond to questions and encourage renewals
  • Support member account decisions and demonstrate exemplary workload execution
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and support team goals

  • Make data-driven decisions, adapt to change, and pursue continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications...
