Position Summary

Membership Representative
Are you someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong sales background? Our Membership Representative is a salaried role at Sam’s Club, seeking friendly individuals passionate about teaching and training associates at registers, self-checkouts, club pickup, and more. You will engage current members to utilize their benefits and develop B2B relationships to grow membership. The role involves multitasking in busy periods, assisting members, visiting businesses, and supporting company events. It’s rewarding work as part of a large team with a common goal: satisfied members.

What you'll do
  • Drive membership growth by communicating goals, results, and feedback
  • Ensure signage and marketing materials are up-to-date
  • Support membership engagement through cross-functional collaboration
  • Provide information on membership benefits and promote company products and services
  • Teach associates to process and sell memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts
  • Educate members on membership types, programs, and benefits
  • Identify member needs and match them with appropriate benefits and services
  • Respond to membership questions and encourage renewals
  • Assist with member account decisions
  • Lead by example in workload execution, training, and process improvements
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs
  • Support compliance with company policies and foster a culture of belonging and respect
  • Deliver results with a customer-first approach, using data insights and analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement and adapt to change
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in sales, retail, or related field.
• 1 year’s sales experience in B2B sales.
