Job summary

Job description

This position is responsible for developing and managing the Chapter’s communications and outreach strategies. This includes overseeing social media and website content, designing newsletters and promotional materials, managing email and voicemail communications, and supporting brand consistency across all channels. The role plays a central part in maintaining the Chapter’s visibility and engagement by coordinating promotional efforts for events, merchandise, and sponsorship opportunities, as well as managing contact lists and chapter fact sheets.

This position also leads membership engagement and retention efforts by maintaining membership data, planning recruitment campaigns, and coordinating outreach to students, new members, and those at risk of lapsing. The role includes managing networking events and affinity groups, supporting programming such as conferences and advocacy events, and liaising with schools of social work across the state. This staff member collaborates closely with the Executive Director and team, provides exceptional service to stakeholders, and ensures alignment with National NASW standards and accessibility requirements.

This position is fully remote, with a few in-person events each year in MN.
