Position Summary...

Membership Representative
Are you someone that thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong sales background? Our Membership Representative is a salaried role at Sam's Club, seeking friendly faces passionate about teaching and training associates at registers, self-checkouts, club pickup, and more. You will engage current members to utilize their benefits and develop B2B relationships to grow membership. The role involves working in a fast-paced setting, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays, juggling multiple tasks such as visiting businesses, training, and supporting events. It's hard work but rewarding, as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

What you'll do...

• Drive membership growth by communicating goals, results, and feedback.
• Ensure signage and marketing collateral are up to date.
• Engage with members and staff to identify training needs and provide effective training.
• Promote membership benefits and services.
• Teach associates to process and sell memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts.
• Educate members on membership types, programs, and benefits.
• Match member needs with appropriate benefits and solutions.
• Respond to questions, encourage renewals, and assist with account decisions.
• Lead and support activities to meet membership goals, including sales techniques like cold calling and membership drives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, support plans, and measure progress.
• Provide supervision, training, and development for associates.
• Ensure compliance with policies and uphold company values and ethics.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field, or 4 years’ experience in sales or retail.
• 1 year of B2B sales experience.
