Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred in a related field.
• Series 52 and Series 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for fixed income products to clients and internal teams.
• Analyze market conditions and prepare offerings involving Treasuries, agencies, MBS, money market instruments, and municipal bonds.
• Monitor economic developments, market trends, and industry news to provide timely information.
• Coordinate trade allocations, order execution, and settlement for new issues and secondary market trades.
• Maintain expertise in fixed income products, trading practices, and market dynamics.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, financial advisors, broker-dealers, and industry partners.
• Manage fixed income inventory with risk management policies.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales & Trading Representative supports the Fixed Income Trading team through the sales, management, and trading of investment-grade fixed income securities. This position serves institutional clients and financial advisors by providing market insight, facilitating trade execution, and maintaining strong client relationships. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service while adhering to regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients regarding fixed income products and related investment activities.
• Analyze market conditions and prepare offerings and recommendations involving fixed income securities, including Treasuries, agencies, mortgage-backed securities, money market instruments, and municipal bonds.
• Monitor economic developments, market trends, research publications, and industry news to provide timely information to clients and team members.
• Coordinate trade allocations, order execution, and settlement activities for both new issue and secondary market transactions.
• Maintain and develop expertise in fixed income products, trading practices, and market dynamics.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, financial advisors, broker-dealers, and other industry partners.
• Manage fixed income inventory positions in accordance with established policies and risk management guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including municipal securities regulations and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards

CORE QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Series 52 and Series 63 licenses, or the ability and willingness to obtain required licenses within an established timeframe.
• Knowledge of fixed income products, capital markets, or investment services preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
