Responsibilities

1. Welcomes customers and provides routine information concerning sales and services and directs customers to appropriate employee for specific information and service.
2. Assists customers with their financial transactions by providing outstanding sales and service while receiving and processing customer financial transactions, including deposits and loan payments. Sells monetary instruments, transfers amounts from customer accounts as directed, posts transactions to customer accounts, and maintains customer records, all while working within all Federal Regulatory guidelines, Reg CC, BSA, etc. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
3. Displays and reinforces excellent sales and service to all customers and employees. Cross-sells all bank services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. The role involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
• Good communication skills required.
• Working knowledge of Windows computers and 10-key calculator; accuracy with numbers and names is essential.
• Must be comfortable standing for six to seven hours per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds if required to serve customers.
