Job summary

Univest in South Philadelphia is seeking a Sales and Service Representative to perform teller operations, assist customers with everyday banking needs, and identify cross-sell opportunities. You will support supervisors, participate in tele-consulting, and help grow branch business while following Univest procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong sales and customer-service skills, and focus on accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Neat, professional appearance following dress guidelines.
• Within 12 months of hire: SSR training and certification; Consumer Loans training and certification; Teller training and certification; Univest Pre-Supervisor program.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.
• Operate technology as required.
• Supervise teller operations and coaching as needed.

As our South Philadelphia Sales and Service Representative, you’ll be a trusted resource for customers who count on friendly service, everyday banking support, and financial solutions that fit their lives.

Responsibilities

BRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines
• Operate technology as required
• Supervision of teller operations
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority
• Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners
• Proactively initiate sales conversations
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services
• Leverage bank promotions
• Adhere to outlined sales flow
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
• Perform additional duties as required

Wage Range:

The salary for this position begins at $23.00/hr
