Job summary

Univest Financial Corporation in Collegeville, PA is seeking a Sales and Service Representative to provide friendly customer service, process teller and platform transactions promptly, and identify opportunities to cross-sell Univest products and services to meet customers' financial goals.

You will build lasting relationships with customers, support daily branch operations, participate in Univest University training programs, and coach teammates on service quality and sales flows to drive

• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results.
• Strong written/verbal/organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Professional appearance following guidelines.
• SSR training and certification within 12 months.
• Consumer Loans training and certification within 12 months.
• Teller training and certification within 12 months.
• Univest University's Pre-Supervisor Certificate Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Adhere to procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.
• Operate technology as required.
• Supervision of teller operations.
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business.
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners.
• Proactively initiate sales conversations.
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services.
• Leverage bank promotions.
• Adhere to outlined sales flow.
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures.
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs.
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels.

Responsibilities

BRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

• Monday - Wednesday: 8 am - 4 pm
• Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm
• Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
• Saturday: 9 am - 1 pm (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines
• Operate technology as required
• Supervision of teller operations
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority
• Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners
• Proactively initiate sales conversations
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services
• Leverage bank promotions
• Adhere to outlined sales flow
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalency
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results
• Strong written/verbal/organizational skills
• Previous experience with MS Office Suite
• Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress
• Successful completion of the following programs within 12 months of hire:
  • SSR training and certification
  • Consumer Loans training and certification
  • Teller training and certification
  • Univest University's "Pre-Supervisor" Certificate Program

Wage Range

The salary for this position begins at $23.00/hr
