Job summary

Univest in Intercourse, PA seeks a Sales and Service Representative to deliver friendly, everyday banking support and financial solutions to customers in the community.

The role encompasses teller transactions, adherence to procedures, and proactive customer engagement to develop new business and cross-sell Univest products. Training programs include Univest University’s Supervisor Certificate and SSR/Loans certifications.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.
• Operate technology as required.
• Supervision of teller operations.
• Identify customer needs and cross-sell opportunities to develop new business.
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners.
• Proactively initiate sales conversations.
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts.
• Develop knowledge of Univest Products and Services.

As our Intercourse, PA Sales and Service Representative, you’ll be a trusted resource for customers who count on friendly service, everyday banking support, and financial solutions that fit their lives.

Responsibilities

BRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

• Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm


• Friday: 8 am – 6 pm


• Saturday: 9 am – 12 pm (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately


• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines


• Operate technology as required


• Supervision of teller operations


• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority


• Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program


• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business


• Develop working relationships with integrated partners


• Proactively initiate sales conversations


• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts


• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services


• Leverage bank promotions


• Adhere to outlined sales flow


• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures


• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs


• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels


• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct


• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalency


• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize


• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results


• Strong written/verbal/organizational skills


• Previous experience with MS Office Suite


• Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress


• Successful completion of the following programs within 12 months of hire:

Wage Range

The salary for this position begins at $23.00/hr
