Univest is seeking a Central PA Sales and Service Representative to support customers across multiple locations including New Holland. You will provide friendly service, handle everyday banking needs, and suggest financial solutions that fit customers’ lives.

The role involves branch operations, tellering, and proactive sales within a community-focused bank. Mileage reimbursement is included, and the position offers a robust benefits package and ongoing Univest University training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalency.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results.
• Strong written/verbal/organizational skills.
• Previous experience with MS Office Suite.
• Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress.
• Successful completion of SSR training and certification.
• Consumer Loans training and certification.
• Teller training and certification.
• Univest University’s Pre-Supervisor Certificate Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.
• Operate technology as required.
• Supervision of teller operations.
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority.
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business.
• Develop working relationships with integrated partners.
• Proactively initiate sales conversations.
• Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts.
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures.
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs.
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels.
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.

This position will support and float the following locations - Georgetown, Intercourse, Mechanicsaburg, New Holland, Strasburg, Willow Street, and York. Mileage reimbursement is included.

Responsibilities

BRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

• Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 4 pm
• Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
• Saturday: 8 am – 12 pm (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

• Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately
• Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines
• Operate technology as required
• Supervision of teller operations
• Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority
• Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program
• Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business

• Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services
• Leverage bank promotions
• Adhere to outlined sales flow
• Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures
• Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs
• Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalency

• SSR training and certification
• Consumer Loans training and certification

• Univest University’s “Pre-Supervisor” Certificate Program

Wage Range:

The salary for this position begins at $23.00/hr
