Job summary

Beanpot Broadcasting seeks a dynamic Sales and Marketing Assistant to support 92.5 the River Boston and sister stations. This full-time, on-site role coordinates campaigns with sales executives, assists client relationships, and handles administrative tasks to maximize revenue and brand growth.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is excited about radio and digital marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales executives with proposals, contracts, and presentations for clients.
• Coordinate with sales executives to gather information for on-air, digital, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain and update sales databases, CRM tools, traffic and continuity and account records.
• Prepare sales reports, metrics, and data insights for the team.
• Help plan and execute marketing campaigns, including on-air promotions, contests, social media, and email newsletters.
• Create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital assets.
• Assist in managing multiple station social media channels with consistent branding.
• Organize station-sponsored events, including Station Street Team appearances, community outreach, and listener engagement.

Beanpot Broadcasting is seeking a dynamic and organized Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team and to assist our radio stations, both for our 92.5 the River Boston brand and for those of our sister stations. This full-time and on-site role supports the Sales and Marketing departments by coordinating campaigns with sales executives, assisting with client relationships, and managing administrative tasks to help maximize revenue and brand growth. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for radio, media, and marketing.

Compensation:

• Salary plus 10% net commissions on all collections from sales
• Health Insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) available after 3 months of full-time employment.
• 401(k) available after one year of full-time employment.
• Paid Time Off: 10 paid vacation days per year.

Sales Support:

• Assist sales executives with preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations for prospective and existing clients.
• Coordinate with sales executives to gather information for on-air, digital, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain and update sales databases, CRM tools, traffic and continuity and account records.
• Prepare sales reports, metrics, and data insights for the team.

Marketing Assistance:

• Help plan and execute marketing campaigns, including on-air promotions, enter-to-win contests, social media posts, email newsletters and more.
• Create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital assets.
• Assist in managing multiple station's social media channels, ensuring consistent branding and timely updates.
• Assist in the organization of station-sponsored events, including station Street Team appearances, community outreach, and listener engagement initiatives. Note: some appearances occur during nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends from time to time, including at remotes, concerts and other events associated with our brand and our clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media, and digital advertising, is a plus.
