Job summary

Cumulus Media in Flint and Saginaw, MI is seeking a Sales and Continuity Assistant to support the sales team across both markets. This role focuses on organizing orders, creating proposals, and coordinating traffic and continuity tasks to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in sales or advertising, strong MS Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or advertising.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong multitasking.
• Experience in radio/continuity or sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between sales teams in Flint and Saginaw and clients.
• Organize and input new and revised orders; assist with proposals and digital campaigns.
• Prepare and assemble reports and presentations.
• Be the primary contact for traffic and continuity system questions; coordinate resolutions.
• Assist Traffic Managers by gathering copy and solving clearance issues.
• Handle highly time-sensitive projects and meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple project requests with quick turnaround.
• Enter National orders and commercial copy; support sales/admin functions.

Position Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Flint and Saginaw, MI has an immediate opening for a Sales and Continuity Assistant. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with some of the top radio talent in the country and become an ambassador for Cumulus. We are looking for an individual with an outgoing personality that also has the ability to be flexible, proactively supportive, with great attention to detail and most importantly, loves radio.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary role is acting as a liaison between our sales team for both the Flint and Saginaw markets, our clients and our other inter-company departments
• Organize and input both new and revised orders; assist in creating sales proposals, digital campaigns
• Prepare and assemble reports and presentations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for traffic and continuity system questions, coordinating timely resolution when needed.
• Assist Traffic Managers by gathering copy and working to solve clearance issues
• Work on highly time sensitive projects, adhering to deadlines
• Manage multiple project requests simultaneously with quick turnaround time
• Responsible for entering National orders and commercial copy
• Additional duties as designated by the Sales Manager or Market Manager related to sales or administrative functions

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years of experience in sales, marketing and/or advertising preferred
• Solid computer skills including but not limited to extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, image manipulation, social media and the ability to adapt to proprietary computer systems
• Background in radio station continuity or sales helpful
• Self-starter that is detail oriented, organized, and must be excellent at written and oral communication and possess strong multitasking skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Aptitude to make decisions and work independently without immediate direction or supervision
• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels

Pay Range

USD $36,000.00 - USD $45,000.00 /Yr.
