Job summary

The Sebastian Vail is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to lead group, catering, and SMERF sales while coordinating exceptional meetings and events from inquiry through completion. You will nurture client relationships, drive revenue, and ensure flawless execution.

The role requires at least three years in conference services or hospitality sales, strong negotiation and guest service skills, and knowledge of hotel operations and F&B.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in conference services, hospitality sales, or catering.
• Demonstrated sales, negotiation, organizational, communication, and guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations and food & beverage service; luxury hospitality preferred.

Job description

Join our luxury hotel’s Sales & Marketing team. Lead group and catering sales while coordinating exceptional meetings and events from inquiry through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and secure group, catering, and SMERF business.
• Maintain client relationships and meet established revenue goals.
• Prepare contracts, banquet event orders, and group resumes, and coordinate event operations, on-site support, and billing.
• Identify opportunities to increase food, beverage, banquet, and hotel outlet revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in conference services, hospitality sales, or catering. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated sales, negotiation, organizational, communication, and guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations and food and beverage service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi/FDC. A college degree and luxury hospitality experience are preferred.

Position Type: Full-time, exempt, on-site. Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing. Requirements: Flexible availability and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
