Job summary

Progyny, Inc. in New York City is hiring a Business Analyst to join the Medical Economics and Analytics team. The role supports the Sales team with pricing analyses, financial models, and market-facing materials, driving growth and strategic decisions.

You will develop expertise in healthcare data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to efficient workflows while learning new tools and processes. Hybrid work three days in NYC office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, epidemiology, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in healthcare, insurance, analytics, or related field.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets (30M+ rows).
• Experience using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) or similar development environments.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert (SME) in Progyny claims, utilization, pricing, and financial models.
• Build, maintain, and optimize financial models using advanced Excel, SQL, and VBA.
• Perform network access analyses and translate outputs into actionable insights.
• Partner with Sales to deliver proposals, RFP responses, and market-facing materials.
• Learn new tools and processes to improve workflows and automate tasks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Product, Engineering, and Finance.
