Job summary

Progyny, Inc is seeking a highly analytical Member Revenue Operations Analyst to join the Finance team in New York. You will perform detailed reconciliations, investigate billing issues, manage high-volume cases in Salesforce, and collaborate with Accounting, Legal, and IT to improve processes.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI is essential, with experience in Salesforce and healthcare billing preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
3+ years in Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, Healthcare Finance, A/R, or similar analytical role.
Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and investigative skills.
Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and complex formulas.
Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation.
Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting platforms.
Experience with Salesforce or comparable case-management systems.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed reconciliations of member accounts, payment activity, and transactions to ensure billing accuracy.
Investigate and resolve complex member billing issues by researching discrepancies and inquiries.
Manage high-volume member emails and Salesforce cases, delivering timely resolutions.
Review receivables, postings, adjustments, and balance due to identify discrepancies and resolve accounts.
Process refunds, adjustments, and balance corrections per internal controls and policies.
Coordinate with Legal for bankruptcy documents and approvals; execute write-offs and adjustments.
Collaborate with Accounting, Claims Revenue Ops, Member Services, Engineering, Product, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues and improve billing experience.
Research complex issues, identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Use SQL, Excel, and Power BI to analyze large datasets and support operational reporting.
Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and cross-functional initiatives for new processes and tech.
Develop and maintain SOPs, process docs, and training materials for consistency.
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational performance.
