Job summary

Synergy Cooperative seeks a field-based agronomy associate to perform product recommendations, soil testing, and delivery tasks in Elk Mound, WI. The role involves operating various agricultural equipment and applying crop protection products and fertilizers.

You may assist in warehouse activities and equipment upkeep as needed. Ideal candidates will have related agricultural experience, a valid CDL and a Commercial Chemical Applicator’s License or be willing to obtain them, plus the ability to

Qualifications

• Related agricultural experience.
• A driving record acceptable for commercial liability insurance.
• Commercial Chemical Applicator’s License or willingness to obtain.
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide product recommendations and sales support.

What you’ll be doing:

This position performs an exciting variety of duties including product recommendation & sale, soil testing, deliveries, and agriculture chemical/fertilizer application. Employees in this role have the opportunity to operate a variety of agricultural equipment. On occasion, this position may help out in the warehouse and/or ag equipment shops to maintain equipment and facilities.

• 1-2 years of equipment mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience
• Crop advisor certification
