Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, seeks a driven sales agronomist in Moses Lake, WA. You will sell company products and services, manage territory programs, and strive to meet annual sales goals in a dynamic agricultural market.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in agriculture, familiarity with ag chemicals, a valid driver’s license, and professional credentials (PCA for CA; CCA a plus). Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in agriculture and agricultural chemicals.
• PCA license required for California positions; CCA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell Nutrien products and services within assigned territory or accounts.
• Maintain sales programs and relationships to meet annual sales goals.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to adjust strategies.
• Know product features, benefits and usage for customer education.
• Provide training to employees as needed to improve effectiveness.
• Initiate trials to support marketing efforts and agronomic validation.
• Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis to guide recommendations.
• Research and respond to technical inquiries from customers.
• Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations as required.
• Publish and distribute summaries of agronomic observations and research.
• Maintain and build strong customer contacts.

What You'll Bring:

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry as well as the application of agricultural chemicals
• PCA License is required (for CA positions) / CCA Certification a plus, member in good standing, or ability to test for credentials
• Valid Driver's License

The salary range for this role, in Moses Lake, WA location, is between $80,168.40 - $100,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
