Role Description

The Sales Administrator – Truck Dealer is a full-time, on-site role based in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position supports the sales team by managing order processing, preparing sales documents, and maintaining accurate records in dealership systems. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with customers and internal teams, answering inquiries, updating inventory and pricing information, and ensuring timely completion of sales-related paperwork. The role also involves general administrative support such as scheduling, filing, data entry, and assisting with reports and customer follow-up to help the dealership meet its sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Order Processing and Sales support skills to manage documentation, track orders, and assist the sales team.
• Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills to handle scheduling, data entry, recordkeeping, and general office tasks.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, email, CRM or dealership management systems) and accurate data entry skills.
• Advanced Excel formulas needed due to volume of spreasheets currently utilized across Sales and Accounting.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, parts, and service teams and maintain a professional demeanor with customers.
• Prior experience in a dealership, logistics, or commercial trucking environment is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in business, administration, or sales support is a plus.
