Job summary

Scientific Games helps run the Oklahoma Lottery and partners with retailers to drive ticket sales and awareness. The SAM II visits stores across the state, manages accounts, and uses data to optimize merchandising and promotions.

The role emphasizes independent work, meeting aggressive sales goals, and providing hands-on training to retailers on instant and draw games. Travel within Oklahoma is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or related field or 3 years minimum is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Experience with Lottery operation/industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit retailers on the established territory route schedule weekly.
• Exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct business review presentations with key decision makers.
• Establish and maintain rapport with decision makers at each retailer.
• Review sales trends, goals and opportunities with retailers.
• Educate retailers and lottery players on all instant and draw games provided by the Lottery.

SAM II’s are responsible for visiting and managing retail accounts within their designated territory. They are responsible for managing, maintaining and increasing expense budget within their assigned region. Each SAM II works together with the Oklahoma Lottery and the Scientific Games team to grow sales, enhance merchandising, increase recruitment and train the retailers.
