Job summary

We are currently hiring for: Sales Account Manager – Territory: Baltimore & Washington Marketplace

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within the assigned Baltimore and Washington marketplace.
• Prospect, qualify, and secure new business while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Promote the company's portfolio of fresh poultry, beef, pork, seafood, and value-added protein products.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular in-person visits, presentations, and follow-up.
• Increase account volume while maintaining high customer retention and satisfaction.
• Develop strategic sales plans and target lists for new customer acquisition.
• Utilize competitive sales techniques and market knowledge to maximize growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and account activity updates.
• Professionally represent the company at industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
• Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the fresh protein industry.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business growth.

Qualifications: Requirements

• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
• Experience in foodservice, fresh protein, meat, poultry, seafood, or food distribution sales preferred.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and consultative selling.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening and background check.
