Remmey is a third-generation manufacturer of wooden pallets. Remmey has 3 manufacturing locations in Pennsylvania that manufacture 13 thousand pallets a day. Every product that moves goes on a pallet!
Location- This is a remote position that must reside between the western suburbs of Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley.
Focus: The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing a specific portfolio of existing business and prospective accounts between Pottstown and Jim Thorpe. In this role, you will cultivate relationships and identify opportunities to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a sales professional that can be an account manager for existing business and a hunter for new accounts. This individual should be consultative and focus on value-based selling.
Compensation: This is an executive level sales position with and executive level compensation and car allowance.
This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The position will be part of a 5-person sales organization covering PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, DE, MD, VA, and WV.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage relationships and customer expectations for key accounts
· Prospect territory for new customers
· Manage customer inventory where required
· Resolve issues by demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills
· Design pallets for customers utilizing PDS software
· Prepare, submit, and present proposals and RFQs
· Maintain knowledge of market, product, and competition
· Use CRM and other tools to demonstrate knowledge of assigned customers and prospects
· Travel within territory with occasional over nights
Sales Account Manager Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
· Minimum of 7 years’ sales and account management experience in B2B environment
· Proven negotiating skills with a successful track record closing deals and resolving conflicts
· Self-starter, adaptable, and resourceful in overcoming challenges
· Effective time management skills with a strong bias for action and the ability to independently plan and complete tasks
· Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical product sales preferred
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to utilize tools such as LinkedIn to gain access to decision makers
· Must possess a valid US driver's license
