Sales Account Executive - Enterprise Vertical Hunter

Remote - United States, Tennessee, Colorado, New Jersey, Texas, Washington

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales, a business background capable of engaging customers at the executive level, and a technical background to communicate product details effectively with technical contacts. This is an independent contributor role.

Expectations for Success
  • Hunter Role: Extensive experience in identifying, qualifying, and closing new customers.
  • Responsible for sales activities with new prospects.
  • Act as the primary onboarding point for new products and services.
  • Demonstrate product offerings and value propositions via web or in-person meetings.
  • Develop and grow relationships across customer’s business and technical teams.
  • Educate and support clients for optimal utilization of our product suite.
  • Support a customer base comprising seasoned technical staff, engineers, marketing, legal, and procurement personnel.
  • Engage with Directors and Senior executives to support their business needs.
  • Partner with technical account management and sales teams to review account health and identify growth opportunities.
  • Advocate for customer requirements within Ookla.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of new technologies to support customer growth.
Requirements

  • Ability to travel domestically to support client engagements.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications market (fixed and/or mobile networks, access).
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels and global markets.
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills.
  • Experience working with SFDC.
  • Responsible, self-managed, and efficient in work.
  • Experience negotiating sales contracts with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
