Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of sales experience in the transportation/logistics sector, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and proven sales success. The position offers a salary plus commission structure.
This position is a salary plus commission program. Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Develops and expands customer base in the geographic market. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long‑term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, proposals, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including metric; using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret both pie and bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
