Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to operate department equipment (knives, scale, can opener).

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate bar and display conditions by filling, cleaning, straightening, culling and rotating product.
• Greet customers and provide samples as requested.
• Prepare product with proper washing, cutting, peeling and slicing procedures.
• Utilize and maintain equipment; report equipment problems immediately.
• Check temperatures in display cases and storage areas; report any issues.
• Follow procedures for receiving and storing product to ensure quality and rotation.
• Handle damaged and unsaleable product according to policy.
• Maintain signage on items to alert customers to choices, prices, allergens and ingredients.
• Maintain supply area, including utensils, packaging and condiments.
