Responsibilities include:

1. Providing healthcare services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
2. Performing computerized tomography procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
3. Providing appropriate patient care across all age groups (newborn to geriatric).

Qualifications:

• One to three years of experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers, good communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, ethical and professional conduct, and understanding of age-related developmental issues.
• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekend rotations.
• Interest in participating in clinical education of radiography students.
• Must demonstrate IV competency skills.

Education:

• Associate in Science Degree or Certificate in Radiography from an accredited program, or equivalent.
• Certification by ARRT in radiography and/or CT, with Massachusetts licensure in radiography; dual licensure preferred.
• BLS certification required.
