Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team. You will greet visitors, ensure the reception area remains safe and compliant, and support associates during emergencies.

You’ll monitor CCTV and assist with safety-related responsibilities while balancing multiple priorities to ensure a secure environment for guests and Lakeshore staff. The ideal candidate has CPR certification and strong organizational skills, with experience in incident reporting and emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1–2 years of experience in the field (2+ years preferred).
• CPR certification required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with CCTV, Microsoft Office, Canva and Level Path.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand contract language.
• Experience with social media posting and content for writing/editing.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and register them, directing them throughout Lakeshore HQ.
• Maintain a safe, clean reception area adhering to procedures and safety rules.
• Review and implement emergency procedures, including burglar and fire alarms.
• Monitor incidents via ThinkLP, Verizon Connect GPS, CCTV.
• Provide safety and emergency support for Kids & Co. onsite child care.
• Assist with administrative projects across the organization.
