Job summary

Pensk e Logistics LLC in Reading, PA seeks an instructional designer to design, develop, implement, and maintain safety training materials, primarily eLearning content, for drivers, warehouse staff, and leaders. You will create multimedia content, collaborate with SMEs, and ensure content aligns with regulations and best practices.

Proficiency with Articulate, Vyond, Captivate; strong written/verbal communication; travel may be required; bachelor's in related field; 5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Occupational Safety, or related field required.
• Prefer 5 years experience creating eLearning content, preferably supporting safety-related topics.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to design and develop interactive eLearning courses that are used by a dispersed audience (i.e. truck drivers and warehouse workers)
• Create multimedia content including videos, animations, quizzes, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
• Design content for a variety of knowledge and organizational levels such as drivers, warehouse associates, supervisors, managers, and safety professionals.
• Collaborate with key safety support personnel to ensure training content is updated and compliant with regulations and best practices in the safety industry.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
• Continuously improve content based on learner feedback and industry developments.
• Proven experience in creating eLearning content using content creation tools such as Articulate, Vyond, and Captivate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Capable of working in cross-functional teams as both a leader and team member.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
