Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Safety and Training Manager in Montgomery, AL. The role leads safety compliance, recruits and trains operator candidates, and ensures program accuracy and audits.

You will manage the location's drug/alcohol program, incident investigations, and safety meetings while coordinating with corporate and client needs. This is a full-time role based in Montgomery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the passenger transportation industry.
• California CDL Class B w/Passenger Endorsement.
• Experience in location safety management and/or operations management.
• Providing quality training, including the creation and management of training materials.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT Rule 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Provides behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specs.
• Conducts classroom training as required by location.
• Maintains OSHA logs and safety programs.
• Manages drug & alcohol program and performs audits.
• Investigates incidents and conducts root-cause analysis.
• Responds to customer comments related to service.
