Job summary

CPG is seeking a Safety Manager I in Ashburn, VA to develop and deliver high‑quality safety training for field and facility personnel. You will ensure workers meet OSHA and NFPA standards, while maintaining training records and supporting regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes hands‑on evaluations, incident trend reviews, and continuous improvement of training programs. Collaboration with Safety, Operations, and HR is essential to align training with project needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in safety training or safety management.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, NFPA 70E, and equipment operation requirements.
• Ability to conduct hands‑on practical evaluations for lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and scaffolds.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and digital training tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver instructor‑led and virtual safety training courses.
• Conduct required regulatory and company training including OSHA 10/30 Construction and NFPA 70E.
• Maintain accurate training records, rosters, and certifications.
• Assess employee competency and provide coaching or retraining as needed.
• Assist with onboarding safety orientation for new hires.
• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and HR to support training needs.
