Job summary

New Balance in Salt Lake City is seeking a Safety Training Specialist to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs for the distribution center, conduct training, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This full-time, 2nd shift role supports foster growth and a robust benefits package.

You will partner with distribution associates and supervisors to tailor programs, lead investigations, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related distribution leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for distribution staff.
• Stay current with safety regulations and update protocols accordingly.
• Investigate incidents and lead corrective actions; maintain records.
• Provide regular safety reports and collaborate with leadership to drive improvements.
• Perform duties of Distribution Associates as needed.
