Job summary

New Balance seeks a Distribution Center Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT. You will lead data-driven improvements to safety, quality, productivity, and cost, while ensuring standard work methods and smooth distribution flow across teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to read numbers and letters accurately.
• Proven ability to lead, problem solve and communicate in a team.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate lift equipment as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform full duties for the department and meet deadlines.
• Lead process improvement activities using problem-solving methods.
• Present results of improvements to leadership and peers.
• Audit distribution processes and standard work metrics.
• Notify associates of audit results and actions taken.
• Support safety and ergonomic initiatives and resolve bottlenecks.
• Train team members and update work instructions and boards.
• Assist with picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control.
