Arrow Stage Lines, one of the nation’s premier motorcoach providers, is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented Safety & Training Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team in Omaha, NE. This impactful role will support Safety and Training initiatives across all of our Great Plains locations.

This position plays a key role in training newly hired motorcoach operators, enforcing company safety policies, supporting regulatory compliance, and leading safety initiatives across our regional operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate and deliver comprehensive new hire training programs using company-approved curricula and instructional materials.
Promote and uphold the company’s commitment to a proactive safety culture by coaching motorcoach operators toward safe and responsible behaviors.
Must model our Core Values of Safe, Humble, Hungry, and Smart at all times and champion with team members.
Collaborate with the VP of Safety to ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, ADA, and other regulatory requirements, as well as internal safety policies.
Conduct pre-employment road tests to evaluate driver readiness and competency.
Assist with recruitment by conducting road tests with applicants and completing the onboarding process with new hire Motorcoach Operators across all regional locations.
Monitor Samsara driver performance metrics; provide coaching, retraining, and follow-up for operators with unsafe driving behaviors or compliance violations.
Lead re-training efforts for post-accident operators, workers' compensation cases, or those flagged by safety audits or video telematics.
Analyze accident and injury reports to determine preventability, identify root causes, and assist with corrective action plans.
Represent the location and/or region in safety committee meetings and serve as a resource for all staff safety training initiatives.
Provide support in the development and implementation of safety policies, SOPs, and improvement strategies.
Travel to other locations as needed.
Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability over weekends and evenings. This position will be on-call.
Complies with company scheduled hours.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
MARGINAL DUTIES
Assist with weekly inspections of DVIRs and compliance checks.
Contribute ideas for process improvement related to safety and training systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some college or technical coursework in safety, transportation, or training .
Experience:
3–5 years of safety, training, or compliance experience in transportation or a related field.
Valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements is required.
1–2 years of motorcoach driving experience , passenger endorsement is required.
Prior experience with Samsara, IMG training, or DOT compliance strongly desired.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Clean driving record and strong understanding of safe driving principles.
Solid knowledge of DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and transportation industry safety standards.
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; able to build rapport with drivers and staff.
Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a stressful situation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and fleet telematics systems.
Comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes.
High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Proven problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
