Job summary

Transdev in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a Safety Trainer to facilitate classroom and behind-the-wheel training for new drivers, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining training records, and supporting safety programs. Candidates should have a valid license, 1–3 years of transportation safety experience, knowledge of state and federal rules, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required for a minimum of 3 years.
• 1–3 years transportation and safety experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety rules and regulations.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• Subject to a DOT drug test under 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training to new drivers
• Maintain required training documentation and completion for compliance with state certification, company policies and district, state & federal requirements
• Additional safety program responsibilities such as, accident investigation, forms compliance, and safety meetings
• Other duties as required
