Role Description

The Safety Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Pooler, GA. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day workplace safety activities, including monitoring compliance with health and safety policies, conducting inspections of facilities and equipment, and helping to identify and mitigate hazards. The Safety Technician assists with incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions, and may support Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, training sessions, and safety communications for team members. The role also includes maintaining safety documentation, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to promote safe work practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) program support and implementation.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for engaging with team members and reporting safety findings.
• Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards is preferred.
• Ability to perform safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Associate degree or certification in safety, environmental science, occupational health, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
