Job summary

The FS Safety & Technology Intern will support Ag-Land FS's safety, maintenance, and operational improvement initiatives for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with asset management, preventive maintenance, digital inspections, data analysis, and OT systems to improve safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities include creating dashboards, supporting asset tracking, and traveling to locations for improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Agricultural Systems Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field with good academic standing.
• Interest in safety, maintenance, operations, technology, or process improvement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with digital safety inspections, maintenance forms, and operational workflows.
• Support equipment, fleet, and facility asset management initiatives.
• Help implement QR code tracking and maintenance documentation processes.
• Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and reporting.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor maintenance and safety performance.
• Analyze maintenance and inspection data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support employee training and adoption of new technology tools and processes.
• Travel to company locations and assist with operational improvement projects.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
