Job summary

Ag-Land FS, Inc. in Pekin, IL, offers a Safety & Technology Intern position for Summer 2027. You will support safety, maintenance, and operational improvements with hands-on experience in asset management, digital inspections, data analysis, and OT systems.

The role includes creating dashboards, analyzing maintenance data, and helping implement QR tracking. Pursuing IT/CS/Data Analytics related studies, you will gain exposure to safety programs and practical field projects, with travel required

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Agricultural Systems Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Interest in safety, maintenance, operations, technology, or process improvement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with digital safety inspections, maintenance forms, and workflows.
• Support asset management: equipment, fleet, and facilities.
• Help implement QR code tracking and maintenance documentation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and reporting.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor maintenance and safety performance.
• Travel to company locations and participate in improvement projects.

PURPOSEANDSUMMARYSTATEMENT

TheSafety &Technology Intern will support Ag-Land FS's safety, maintenance, and operational improvement initiativesfor the Summer of 2027. This internship provides hands-on experience with asset management, preventive maintenance programs, digital inspections, data analysis, and operational technology systems that help improve safety, equipment reliability, and overall efficiency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assistwith digital safety inspections, maintenance forms, and operational workflows.

Support equipment, fleet, and facility asset management initiatives.

Help implement QR code tracking and maintenance documentation processes.

Assistwith preventivemaintenancescheduling and reporting.

Create dashboards and reports tomonitormaintenance and safety performance.

Analyze maintenance and inspection data toidentifytrends and improvement opportunities.

Support employee training and adoption ofnew technologytools and processes.

Travel to company locations andassistwith operational improvement projects.

Complete special projects and otherduties asassigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Pursuing a degree or certificationin Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Agricultural Systems Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldfrom a community college, technical college, or university and in good academic standing at the start of the internship, with preferred candidates going into their junior or Senior year at the time of the internship(i.e., juniors going into their senior year qualify, but students graduating before the start of their internship do not).

Interest in safety, maintenance, operations, technology, or process improvement.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

TrainingREQUIREMENTS

Participate in all GROWMARK Internship Program activities and meetings.

Ability to work a minimum of 12 weeks over the Summer, starting May 24, 2027, at the latest.

Attend three required internship events:

May 24-25, 2027: Orientation Meeting (Bloomington, IL)

June 28-30, 2027: Mid-Summer Meeting (Location TBD)

August 11-12, 2027: Conclusion Meeting (Bloomington, IL)

Activelyparticipatein mentoring, networking, and professional development opportunities.

Complete and present a summer internship project.
