Job summary

Evergreen FS, Inc. is offering a Safety Internship for Summer 2027 in Bloomington, IL. The intern will support safety, maintenance, and operational improvement initiatives, gaining hands-on experience with asset management, inspections, and OT systems to improve safety and efficiency.

The program requires pursuing a degree or certification, with a preference for first or second-year students. It includes travel to multiple locations and may involve special projects and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification and in good academic standing at time the internship begins.
• Interest in safety, maintenance, operations, or process improvement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine safety inspections and workplace safety audits.
• Support safety documentation, inspection records, and maintenance tracking activities.
• Help ensure equipment, facilities, and vehicles are maintained in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and safety-related reporting.
• Participate in hazard identification, incident prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel to company locations to support safety, maintenance, and operational improvement projects.
