Job summary

Sandridge Crafted Foods in Adams County, PA, is seeking a Safety & Sustainability Coordinator to lead development and implementation of safety, sustainability, and training programs across the organization. This role partners with site leadership to enhance workplace safety, uphold compliance, and build organizational capability.

You will manage training delivery, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement while representing the company in safety groups and benchmarking efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Safety or related field required; minimum preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a union or non-union facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety, sustainability, and training programs across the organization.
• Lead incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety-related training, including new-hire orientation and ongoing sessions.
• Monitor training compliance and generate leadership insights from data.
• Coordinate safety committees and cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Represent the organization in external safety groups and benchmarking activities.
• Partner with HR and management on employee relations and workers' compensation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and employment laws.
• Identify trends and opportunities to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Support landfill diversion and utility reduction initiatives at all sites.
