Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead safety programs at our Calvert, AL site and protect workers. You will coordinate with site management and report to the Facilities Safety Manager to maintain a hazard‑free workplace.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing or construction with a safety certification, OSHA 30, CPR, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or construction experience with a recognized safety certification.
• Must have OSHA 30 certification.
• Must have CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
• Must have good oral communication skills and be able to conduct safety meetings.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
• A current driver’s license with a good driving history is required.

Responsibilities

• Audit the shop to ensure safe work performance and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records as required by OSHA and company policy.
• Investigate job related injuries and accidents. Complete required incident investigation reports and assist claims personnel with claim resolution.
• Provide first aid to employees for work‑related injuries.
• Perform safety orientations and weekly safety meetings to ensure compliance. Performs various types of safety related training.
