Job summary

Lexicon in Monroe, LA is seeking a Safety Supervisor to safeguard employees and the public, reporting to the Facilities Safety Manager. You’ll work with site management to maintain a hazard-free workplace in a safety-sensitive role.

You’ll audit, train, and lead safety initiatives, conduct weekly meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance while supporting incident investigations and first aid when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required; CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong oral communication and ability to conduct safety meetings; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Audit the shop to ensure safe work performance and OSHA/compliance with company policies.
• Maintain OSHA records and incident investigations.
• Provide first aid to employees for work-related injuries; lead safety trainings and weekly safety meetings.
• Overtime, weekend work, and punctual attendance required.
